So we are about to enter the FINAL WEEK of voting in Web Entertainment Guide’s Web Series contest. A contest in which, in case you still didn’t know, we are a finalist. You can vote for us here and help us win the $10,000 grand prize which we’d use towards production of the upcoming second season.
This weekend, Andrew and Matt will be making a few appearances to talk up the contest, the show and all the various goings on (did we mention nationwide season 1 DVD release this summer?) First, you can catch us Saturday evening (March 6th) on Austin’s KOOP Radio FM 91.7. We’ll be on The Mascot Wedding Show from 6-7pm CST and even if you’re not here in ATX, you can listen online at koop.org. Then, Monday morning (March 8th), you can catch us on San Antonio’s #1 morning show Great Day, SA from 9-10am on CBS KENS 5. We’ll try to get that segment online soon after for all you non-locals.

Things have been admittedly quiet here, but 2010 promises to be a big year for The Andrew and Matt Show. Season 1 will see a nationwide DVD release this summer, and a massive screening event is planned to coincide with it. And season 2 is slated to begin shooting this May with an eye on the early fall for a debut.
But more importantly is what’s going on right now. The show has been selected as a finalist in Web Entertainment Guide’s Web Series Contest. Winning would mean an award of $10,000 towards season 2. However, winning depends on you the viewer. Yes that’s right, we need your VOTES to win this thing. Please help us out and VOTE ANDREW AND MATT SHOW HERE.

So we did a little cleaning up, a little polishing. Anyone who’s familiar with the site will notice the new look, and hopefully you’ve found the new character bios and production notes and such and such. I know it may seem like the cafeteria lights got turned on and suddenly the dance is over but rest assured- wheels are in motion.
For now, I just wanted to post a quick way to watch all of season 1 via this player right below. It’ll play episodes 1-13 in a row for anyone who hasn’t seen ‘em or wants to see ‘em again. So grab some popcorn, tell your friends and we’ll see you soon.

Hard to believe that it’s been just over a month since season 1 of our little adventure came to a close. I’m betting many of you thought it was the end. Well, luckily I’m here today to deliver a small nugget of Andrew and Matt Show news that I’m sure you’re all thirsting for like the ravenous dogs that you are.
On Tuesday, June 23rd, Andrew and Matt will be a part of a panel discussion for the San Antonio Film Commission on the subject of web content and such and such. It promises to be both fun and educational and we invite you to come out and observe if you happen to be in the neighborhood of the San Antonio, TX Downtown Library at 7pm.
