The Andrew and Matt Show is the world’s very first (ever in the history of Earth) internet comedy series/beacon of hope for a generation of lost souls. The show follows the hilarious and slightly arousing adventures of the titular characters as they embark on a journey that can be described as, if anything… “watchable”.

When the straight-laced, mild-mannered Andrew (Andrew Rosas) is approached by his quick-witted, slow-witted friend Matt (Matt Ryan) and asked to co-pilot an internet comedy series- Andrew finds himself at a crossroads. On the one hand, Andrew can remain in his practical, mediocre existence with his controlling and short girlfriend Whitney (Alicia Barone) or he can throw caution to the wind and embark on a journey through the very fabric of the human condition with Matt, new love Audrey (Brooke Friesen) and thier rag tag production team (some other people) as they attempt to make internet gold in hopes that it will net them fame and riches longer than this sentence could ever dream of being.

But when it is uncovered that Matt may be using less than ethical means to fund the show, it becomes a race against time to save the project, the friendship and maybe (but not really) the universe itself.

Cast of Characters

“Andrew James”

After earning his high school diploma, Andrew James attended 3 and a half semesters at Sebastian L. Nunez Community College where he met his current girlfriend Whitney. Both were, at the time, undeclared liberal arts majors. He is currently pursuing a pilot’s training license but it is not immediately clear why. Nor is it apparent where he obtains any income.

“Matt”

Any and all information on Matt was not available at press time.

“Whitney P. Worthington”

At her senior year homecoming, Whitney Worthington was crowned “most likely to be a super famous and totally gorgeous actress”. Though, it is worth noting that this is a category Whitney herself lobbied the student council to include- at one point involving her lawyers and a tedious re-drafting of the school charter. Currently, Whitney is sustained off a trust fund left by her late grandfather which supports her pursuit of an acting career. Last Fall she starred in a dinner theater production of “The Mirror in the Lake”. The publication Palabra de Personas gave her perfomance “tres jabeneros”.

“Audrey”

Audrey (last name unknown) is student of theater tech at the University of Texas. She got her start in production when she served as key grip on her father’s low budget production “White Inferiority and Other Myths”. He was later indicted on conspiracy charges and is currently serving 20 years in Washington State. This, however, did not darken Audrey’s spirit or drive to succeed in film and theater production. Her other credits include lighting design on the original UT stage production Malarky! and the UT student short “The Order of Chaos”.

“Bruce ‘Doogs’ Doogan”

Bruce Doogan is, by trade, a sound man. He began his career on low budget porn movies and eventually moved on to even lower budget porn movies. He currently resides under the 24th street bridge and can be found on weekends sleeping behind copy machines in whatever FedEx Kinko’s store he is closest to at the time. He also prefers to be called “Doogs”.

“Eric ‘F-Stop’ Farnesworth”

Rapper F-Stop (born Eric Farnesworth) is best known for his underground 2004 debut single “F*** deez B******”. Despite a complete and utter lack of radio support, the track still afforded F-Stop enough modest success to record the full length debut LP Magazine. The title was intended to be a play on words, “magazine” describing both a loaded clip as well as a film canister. This was lost on most who either mistook the record for an actual magazine or an instruction manual for aspiring photographers. Nevertheless, Eric recently recorded its follow up Shutta Speed, though no distribution deal is currently in place. On the subject of Eric pursuing both a rap career as well as the route of a film cinemtographer, he says that entrepreneurship is common in the rap community. “Most rappers have a clothing line or a drink or something.” He states. “This is just how I do it.”

“Doug Thompson”

When a new sitcom was in search of an unknown actor to play “the delivery man” Doug Thompson jumped at the chance to audition. But first, in order to fully research the role, he obtained a job as an actual local delivery man- while he awaited a callback on the sitcom. Unbeknownst to Doug, said sitcom has already shot, aired and failed to be picked up- but the delivery job is honest work.

“Jeff Johannson”

Jeff is a talented and aspiring musician and the youngest recepient of the prestigious Archer Grant for the Performing Arts. However, it is widely reported that he spent the money included in the grant on controlled substances and, for unknown reasons, spiraled into depression. This is most apparent when listening to his two independently released albums Plasm Spasm and fjcsdgkvyerg. The latter, as the title suggests, is a collection of unrelated and opposing sounds mashed together. He is rumored to be sobering up and planning a return to classical compositions.
